The C4 Electric Bed Bug Heater is a premier 120 volt electric heater designed for maximum heat with a minimal footprint. The heater contains 4 independently operating heating circuits, each of which draw 12 amps. Each circuit adds 5,092 BTUs of heat. The heater has a high-velocity fan built into the housing to quickly distribute heated air throughout the treatment area, redundant safeties including thermal cutouts, and built-in digital thermostatic controls.
The C4 Electric Bed Bug Heater is an ideal heater for use in single room applications, apartments, heat chambers, or as a supplemental heater on larger projects. The C4 Bed Bug Heater is capable of comfortably treating up to 300 square feet, with 8′ ceilings, of occupied space in a standard work day, or up to 375 square feet of vacant space.
Power requirements: DO NOT use this equipment in any structure with outdated power, including aluminum wiring, and push-in or screw-in fuses. Power Requirements are (4) 15 amp circuit breakers. Heater requires (4) 12 gauge twist-lock extension cords (red or blue in color depending on product availability), which are included in the heater’s price. Please note: Electric bed bug heaters generally require one to several hours to reach kill temperatures (120º-140ºF); cold weather, poorly insulated rooms, vaulted ceilings, concrete walls/floors, and inadequate power supply may also impact the time required to achieve kill temperatures as well as the capacity of the heater. Please take exact measurements of your space before ordering this product. If your treatment space is larger than 300 sqft, even slightly, this heater may NOT ACHIEVE the above referenced recommended temperature range. it works, 1 room at a time, go through the panel and make sure you’re on 4 separate circuits, use zip walls (cheap at home depot) heavy plastic and frog tape to partition areas. set a blue tooth temperature sensor, lock the doors and check on it periodically if you want, come back in 24 hours and you will have been at suitable instantaneous bedbug killing temperature for probably 12 hours. 1 person can move and carry everything in the trunk of a regular car. I did a whole 12 unit occupied apartment building myself with it. Works even better in the summer. Double check that all the windows are locked and sealed shut
