I had a guest who brought bedbugs into my 1,000 sq.ft. condo. From my due diligence, heat is the only way to kill the buggers. I found ThermalFlow and ordered the 400 sq.ft. Electric Bed Bug heater package. I used polystyrene boards to partition the condo into three sections in order to stay under 400 sq.ft (limit of heater package). I left the heater running for at least six hours in each section, and after two hours each section would be > 120 F. About two months have passed since, and I have been bitten 0 times. I’m really happy I bought this product.

The unit was easy to use and easy to hook up wires. The 400 unit did a nice job would highly recommend it to anyone one.

Product was as described and and arrived quickly. Only issue was that it was shipped UPS requiring a signature. As my spouse and I were out of town this caused some difficulty and there was no work around provided. (was told signature required because of cost but I have received much more expensive items without signature). That said, everything was heavy duty, easy to set up and use. Easily heated up smaller room and on larger room with vaulted ceilings was also able to do the trick.

Great setup. Very east to set up and transport, we use these in out rental property, when in doubt we treat the place. We could not afford to hire it our each time. The freedom to handle this on our own really helps

I have had bed bugs since 2011 when I let my nephew stay at my house and he brought infested furniture in. I have tried many exterminators over the years and have paid thousands of dollars to get rid of them. I even used a professional that used heat treatment and they came back after six months, probably were in my attic which I use for storage. When I found your product, I thought that maybe if I had my own heater I could treat as often as needed. I was badly infested and may need to retreat at some time in the future, but feel confident that I will get rid of these pests for good very soon. The equipment is easy to use and works exactly as promised. Thank you Thermal Flow for finally giving me a good nights sleep.

This product is easy to use. I have not seen any live bugs since we treated. I vacuumed everything well after treatment and am currently doing a second round of heat (2 weeks later) just to be sure nothing survived. I like that I have that option since I purchased the equipment to use myself rather that hiring somone (they wanted $5000 for my house). I opted to treat one room at a time myself.

After battle with bugs trying everything this was our last resort did each room. Still have not seen a one .

Like many other people who battled bugs we found total eradication beyond the reach of pesticides. We then tried a professional with heat treatment. Bugs returned. I’m convinced he didn’t allow enough time for the heat to penetrate. This is a cabin with tongue and groove pine walls. Lots of places for bugs to hide deep in the walls. So we bought the 400 square foot version, plugged into the stove outlet, and heated 2 small bedrooms and the adjoining hall all at the same time. I covered the windows with 1 inch styrofoam for better heat retention and started at 5pm. I had 120 degrees by midnight. Then I ran the system for another 12 hours; reached maximum temps of 135 degrees! That may be overkill but how can you overkill a bedbug? Readjusting the fans periodically put heat into the hard to reach corners. The laser thermometer is great for testing temperatures in even the most remote corners of the room. The system worked exactly as advertised. A month has passed and no bugs thus far. If you are battling bedbugs I recommend you purchase the appropriate system and don’t waste time and money on other methods. Even the professionals will not give your home the same time and attention you will. As the old adage goes “ if you want it done right… do it yourself”. I would like to see a better user manual with the equipment. A bit more instruction and maybe a trouble shooting guide. That might add some confidence to 1st time users like myself. All in all I am pleased with this system and recommend it highly for anyone in a bedbug battle!

We recently purchased a home which came with bed bugs as a bonus. After reading online about ways to deal with these pesky bugs we decided to invest into bug heater package for homes and not bother with sprays and chemicals. Our order arrived in couple days which was pleasant surprise given size of the package. Setting it up was a matter of few minutes. We ran it for 24 hours and bugs were gone. I highly recommend Thermal Flow for outstanding customer service. Thank you for this great product!

After fighting the nightmare of bed bugs for months and trying everything to take the cheap and easy way out we finally broke down and bought the 400 square foot heater and fan. It was a purchase I wish I had made in the beginning, it would’ve saved me many sleepless nights. This system was very easy to use and very effective, also by owning it I am not obligated to pay an over priced post control company and neither do my family or friends. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Thermal flow.

This is the only answer that works. Once we found some bugs we tried many powders and sprays (both natural and not). These Did not work! These heaters were easy to use. I wish I would have known about this before investing money in other products that do not work.
PS: One of the questions I had was what side takes what cords. It does not matter. just plug in all the outlets with the provided cords. You will see a little blue light if done right. Then turn on the switches. This product is easy to use and worth this price.

This worked great for me so far. Have done three rooms in my house. It has been three weeks and no sign of anything. Bought the 400 sq ft units because I have one room that is 385 sq ft. Warm up of room seemed slower, but it really took off and got the whole room up to temp for several hours. I bought the unit that has for 120 cords and the one cord that plugs into my stove outlet. Three rooms and a $60 increase I. Electric bill. I couldn’t be happier.

After getting a quote of $2,200 (including a discount for cash) from a local bed bug exterminator that uses heat, albeit for my entire house at once, I thought about what would happen if I ever get a re-infestation – I’d have to spend another $2,000+ each time. So, I opted for buying the 400-sq. ft. ThermalFlow bed bug package, and I’m glad I did. Although I had to treat one room at a time, it seems to have done the trick. The only drawback was that it took much longer than I expected; I wasn’t aware it would take hours for the unit to get the heat up to the temperature required to kill bed bugs. I finally found a video on YouTube that said I should expect to see 11 hours elapse from starting the unit in a room to the time it’s finished. It’s the time required to treat multiple rooms that keeps me from giving the package a “5” rating, but I would offer a “4.5” if the scale allowed. The positive side is that although the specs say a room at 400 sq. ft. with 9-foot ceilings might not get warm enough to kill bed bugs (the specs consider the max as 400 sq. ft. with 8-foot ceilings), I was able to get my 400 sq. ft. living room with 9-foot ceilings hot enough by running the unit for two days. Sometimes you just have to be patient! Another key is strategically using the separate fan to direct the heat, and I even enlisted some of my own fans to help. I expected my electric bill for the 1.5 weeks I treated my house (I have a three-story house with many rooms) to be off the charts, but it added less than $100 to my monthly bill – in comparison to a one-time treatment by a local exterminator, I paid about the same total, and the best part is I now have a unit that not only I can use if I ever need to again, but I can lend it to family members (I have lots of children and grandchildren) should they have a bed bug problem and save them some significant money!

After 6 months of fighting bed bugs using other methods, this system saved us completely. Used in a clean and sober house with 2 residents per room.
Excellent heat output which was able to permeate walls deep enough to be 100% effective when used for the full 4 hour recommended time for per room. Did not melt anything as thin as Venetian blinds despite manufacturer recommendation that they be removed to prevent damage. We thought using the room fan provided would lessen the focus of the heat in concentrated areas but when used exactly as manufacturer recommended the extras fan provided perfect distribution and circulation of heat to all corners of the room and had no effect to lessen the heat.
As this was out first ever use of this heating system we were a bit skeptical of the performance, and had a little trouble mapping our 4 separate power circuits from out mislabeled breaker box. However we destroyed 2 separate infestations of bugs in different areas of the house successfully without any need to re-treat those rooms ever again. The power cables are thick heavy duty and high quality, with illuminated LEDs so you can easily see if they have power. The plastic housing on the fans is also tough thick heavy duty and high quality. The heating elements are protected by a metal cage face plate. The fans are heavy but have large easy to grip handles making their bulk easy to move. This product is industrial grade. Items we left in the room were small piles of clothes, tool boxes left open, stacks of books, and some electronics (a Chromebook I think), dressers with drawers open, and mattresses stood upright, a few blankets, removed wall outlet covers, power strips (unplugged), and other small items. Most clothes and blankets were sealed in bags and decontaminated carefully in the dryer or laundry mat. Then remaining clothes that were worn were also decontaminated and placed in the dryer for 30-60 minutes. We checked and moved the fans 1x per hour with the given laser thermometer to ensure all corners of the room were equally hot, and tested the inside of books, window corners, and all corners of the room and other surface areas to verify the rooms reached 140 deg. Our rooms were 150sq ft, and 250sq ft and we have had no problems since and are very happy to be 100% bug free 3 month later. Follow the instructions completely and you will be too:)
