Made in the USA, the 550,000 BTU TCS Portable Indirect-Fired Heater fueled by diesel or kerosene. It is a newer model heater that is built upon proven technologies, with upgraded features and superior durability. It is ETL/CSA certified for use in the United States and Canada. It is designed to withstand the most rugged environments, and can operate in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

PLEASE NOTE: Power requirements are (1) 20 amp circuit breaker/standard wall outlet. Optional (1) 16″ High Temperature Duct or (2) 12″ High Temperature Ducts sold in 25′ sections. Additional optional accessories include a remote thermostat, 2′ chimney stack/rain cap. 

A portable indirect-fired heater is a common choice for climate control on construction sites, outdoor events, and other spaces requiring temporary heat. The TCS Model HCI-600D 550,000 BTU heater can be installed for temporary use indoors or outdoors. If installed indoor, the flue must be vented to the outdoors by an HVAC professional. Additionally, the heater can be recirculated to boost performance in cold weather environments. It is capable of temporarily heating up to 15,0000 square feet with standard 8′ ceiling height, but can vary depending on factors such as building envelope, air handling units for air distribution, and other factors.

The 550,000 Btu Pro Series is indirect-fired, meaning there is no exposed flame or fumes to be concerned about. You can be assured that fresh, clean air will be delivered into the structure with no products of combustion going into the space. To further ensure safety, the heaters can be equipped with an on/off thermostat, which means you do not have to manually adjust the gas flow, or standing by the heater, shutting it on and off to control the temperature. There are redundant safeties built-in to this portable indirect-fired heater include: including high-temperature limit switch, airflow switch, and flame detection photocell. The body of the heater is made of heavy gauge steel, protecting the components of the heater, and surrounded by steel arms for securing the heater during transport, further safeguarding the heater from accidental damage. The heater has a 4 wheel design providing superior maneuverability.
