The 180 Square Foot Electric Bed Bug Heater Package is the perfect bundle for DIY bed bug treatments, and singular bedroom treatments. Also known as a “Cube Heater” because of it’s box-style, the Single Room Heater in the package is capable of achieving 140 degree F temperatures in standard-sized bedrooms. (Note: Larger areas at max capacity may only achieve temperatures of 120 degrees F. Concrete rooms cut the capacity by 50-60%). The heater is specifically designed for bed bug treatments, meaning it has high-temperature rated electrical components, high-temperature heat shielding around the elements, and a sealed high-temperature fan motor, unlike your over-the-counter electric heaters from the hardware store. The heater is compact 15″x15″x14″, and weighs only 19 pounds. The included air mover ensures optimal heat penetration throughout your space and the Infrared Thermometer is used to verify that every square inch of the space has reached your desired temperature. This package also includes the 12 gauge extension cords required to power the heater.
Power requirements: DO NOT use this equipment in any structure with outdated power, including aluminum wiring, and push-in or screw-in fuses. Power requirements are (4) 15 amp circuit breakers/standard wall outlets.

i’m not a pro just a regular joe. i went to the breaker box and by switching breakers on and off figured out where to plug in the three cords and i ran the heater for six hours and the temp reached 138 F and haven’t seen any more bugs. anyone can do it and i’ll do it again if they come back.

The equipment worked just as advertised. Electric cords are of adequate length to reach different circuits and fans and heater worked great. Hardest part was ensuring no escaping of heated air from the room. Once you have the room sealed, turn on unit and let run. We did one additional treatment because we found bugs in box springs. No more signs of bugs now. great savings over a company doing the job and we can use again at our other properties if necessary. Thx

Like many before me, I have no idea how these buggers got into my house, but they setup shop and eventually got to 3 bedrooms before we figured it out. I threw out old bedframes and mattresses, laundered everything, bug bombed the rooms, put out traps, sprayed, and even used diatomaceous earth power. I thought I’d got them all, but I was wrong. A few months later we discovered them again.
Enough is enough, time for the nuclear option. I’d considered whole house heat treatment, but it seems very invasive, inconvenient, and expensive. I search and discovered this website and package. I was at my wit’s end and pulled the trigger. I couldn’t wait for it to arrive.
Upon arrival, everything was included, nothing damaged. The extension cords are beefy and were able to reach 3 circuits in my house. The hardest part of the ordeal is cleaning and prepping the room before treatment. But when you’re ready to go, you simply set the timer, flips some switches, and walk away. I was concerned letting it run completely unattended and opted to run it overnight.
On the bedroom with a single exterior wall, I measured upwards of 150 degrees on surfaces after 12 hours. On the slightly larger rooms with 2 exterior walls, I measured a good 135-140 degrees after 12 hours.
Upon inspection after treatment, the only bugs I saw were dead ones.

I tried everything!
I have, correction, had been dealing with this blood sucking pests for over a year now. I tried everything you can find on google. DE traps you name it! I could get the numbers down, but never finish the job. Finally I decided you know what I’m just going to buy the darn unit. This thing worked great! It cooked the room up to close to 140 degrees. It took about 6 hours to reach that temperature, but it sure got there. This unit works great.

The THERMAL FLOW 180 sq ft heater package totally hammered out the gig heat wise. Very quick set up. I was able to achieve 133 degrees in the 3 smaller bedrooms. The heating system is hardcore. I put it to the test for 10 hours straight running time per room. Use painters tape and seal everything up really good. Use an extra fan if you can, to get better air flow. I tried it in a slightly bigger room that was 218 sq ft. It maintained 123 for 10 hrs. which I thought was pretty impressive. Once again sealing off everything is crucial plus 2 fans is the ticket. The heating system just screams QUALITY. The engineers at THERMAL FLOW got it totally dialed. I would totally recommend this set up for THE BIG BUG KILL. There is nothing cheesy about this set up it’s BULLET PROOF.

I wanted to avoid using chemical pesticide, so I chose the heat treatment, and these devices worked very well in the rooms in my house, which are small. I managed to cook them up to about a hundred and thirty-three degrees, which is more than enough to kill bed bugs and their larvae. It was a little tricky to do the hallway because it was a non confined area oh, and I worked out some tricky Contraption with hanging plastic sheets to divide up the area. I’m not sure that I killed the bed bugs, if there were any in the hallway area, but I’m taking up the carpeting anyway and the housekeeping will be easier. In short, I believe he treatment is the way to go if you can get the rooms hot enough. It certainly safer for you your pets, and your family. Probably it would be a good business to get into, because it was so hard to find a company that would do heat treatment in my area. And every time I call the pesticide company the first thing they said was they didn’t do heat treatments so it seems like a lot of people are seeking treatment as an alternative.
